Chad Gaines, CPA

Chad Gaines is a highly accomplished CPA with a diverse range of experience in the accounting industry. With a solid foundation in accounting principles and an exceptional attention to detail, Chad has established himself as a trusted professional in the field. Chad graduated from California Baptist University in 2020. After graduating college, Chad took and passed all 4 sections of the CPA exam in less than 6 months, far quicker than the 2 year window allotted to candidates of this grueling test.

Chad Started his career at Teaman, Ramirez, and Smith, a small accounting firm in Riverside California. While here he had the chance to work primarily with individuals and small business owners. He established a strong knowledge base and developed problem solving skills while working with a wide variety of clients, each with their own unique challenges.

Seeking new challenges and opportunities to further expand his skillset, Chad transitioned to PwC, one of the world's leading professional services firms. At PwC, he had the privilege of working with large hedge fund and fund of fund clients. This experience provided him with exposure to complex financial transactions, tax engagements, and regulatory compliance. Chad quickly advanced to a senior associate position in 1 1/2 years, far quicker than the average 2-3 years typically required to reach the senior associate level. In this new role Chad further expanded his tax technical knowledge by taking on more complex assignments, while also developing his leadership abilities by providing guidance to and reviewing the work of offshore engagement teams and onshore associates.

Chad left PwC and founded Gaines Tax Solutions with the goal of helping individuals and small business owners navigate the complex world of taxes. With his proven track record you can be confident that you are in good hands and that your tax return will get done right.
